Jenny Joice is a portrait artist working with adults, children,
dogs, cats, horses and other animals.
Her
gift in capturing character and personality in her artwork evolved
during her training in the Florentine studio of the renowned Nerina
Simi together with the Parisian Academies of the Impressionists
during the 1960’s. She then went on to study tribal life
in Southern Africa. On her return to the UK she exhibited, received
portrait commissions and taught extensively throughout East Anglia.
Jenny works primarily in carbon pencil and oils, but increasingly
enjoys the creative discovery of mixed media at her studio based
in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
